Well done that girl 😂
Yes...didn't they do well  l.... what was surprising is that they both laid on the same day.... the two eggs are no bigger than bantam eggs but should get bigger over the coming weeks
I once had a box of eggs (6) and two of them had triple yolks 😲
I’ve just used a box of eggs and each one was a double yoker - don’t eat them myself - hate them  but make lots of cake 🍰

That photo was taken in New York near Radio City. Perhaps once you have sold all the eggs you will be able to afford to pop over and get some for M and M.

This was featured on tv this morning…. it’s a bit like watching paint dry at the moment, but she is sitting on a chick so will get more interesting over the coming weeks.

Great footage of mom and dad plus chicken at the moment
Two chicks were just visible but mom is keeping them warm again now
Getting ready for bedtime

it must be a good year for the bugs and caterpillars this year, as the great tits in our box have decided to have a second family! they all fledged about four weeks ago, we happened to be sitting in the garden in the sunshine, when they all took flight. (well they all flapped and hoped for the best actually), and now they are back flying too and fro with another lot obviously just hatched.
regards gilly.

Hi gilly,

One would think it will be a bumper year for birds what with so many more people at home feeding them?
To date we have had Robins, Sparrows and Crows fledge, we are now waiting for one pair of House Martins chicks to fledge... any day now.

In that case take one of your pigeons…if rumour has it, they are quite tame round your area/house

Hi Cruisin…you did well to see a bullfinch in your garden as they are becoming quite a rare sight… I can’t even remember the last time I’ve seen one.

On my journey out this evening i had a buzzard flying directly in front of me...thankfully in the same direction :)

I know, we’ve never seen one before. At first we thought it was a Chaffinch, but then realised it was a bullfinch. Mind you it flew in and sat on the clothes line for a few seconds and then flew away. A fleeting visit alas. Glad the buzzard wasn’t aiming at you.
