That photo was taken in New York near Radio City. Perhaps once you have sold all the eggs you will be able to afford to pop over and get some for M and M.Onelife wrote: 04 Jun 2020, 18:18Kenmo1 wrote: ↑04 Jun 2020 16:34

Re: Bird watching
it must be a good year for the bugs and caterpillars this year,
as the great tits in our box have decided to have a second family! they all fledged about four weeks ago, we happened to be sitting in the garden in the sunshine, when they all took flight. (well they all flapped and hoped for the best actually), and now they are back flying too and fro with another lot obviously just hatched.
regards gilly.

We now have a pair of resident goldfinches in the garden, although I could only get a decent pic of one of them

One would think it will be a bumper year for birds what with so many more people at home feeding them?
To date we have had Robins, Sparrows and Crows fledge, we are now waiting for one pair of House Martins chicks to fledge... any day now.

In that case take one of your pigeons…if rumour has it, they are quite tame round your area/house

Hi Cruisin…you did well to see a bullfinch in your garden as they are becoming quite a rare sight… I can’t even remember the last time I’ve seen one.
On my journey out this evening i had a buzzard flying directly in front of me...thankfully in the same direction

Re: Bird watching
I know, we’ve never seen one before. At first we thought it was a Chaffinch, but then realised it was a bullfinch. Mind you it flew in and sat on the clothes line for a few seconds and then flew away. A fleeting visit alas. Glad the buzzard wasn’t aiming at you.Onelife wrote: 19 Jun 2020, 21:20Hi Cruisin…you did well to see a bullfinch in your garden as they are becoming quite a rare sight… I can’t even remember the last time I’ve seen one.
