I can only give you our experience. During our latest Town Hall we were told that the management team have seen no perceptible reduction in productivity or quality and, in some areas there is a measurable increase in both. Not a single team has missed a deadline. I am hearing similar stories from other similar companies (but accept that there will be exceptions).Onelife wrote: 05 Sep 2020, 13:45I have no grounds to back this up but while working from home is an option during Covid l'm less inclined to believe this will work long term. When Covid is behind us there is going to have to be an awful lot of trust on behalf of the employer that their employees have the same work ethic as they would in a 9 till 5 working office environment.
I'm not getting into any discussions about this but please feel free to explain why this might not be the case.
Part of that has been people have been working much more flexible hours. I find I have so much more time that I have been attending meetings with our colleagues in India at 6AM and also with our American colleagues at 8-9 at night ... but yet I fell less stressed and get more done with more time for Julie and personal jobs.
