You have probably missed the boat, after that performance their odds against winning the PL will have dropped dramatically.

If they played like that every week I'd put a couple of quid on them.
The trouble is they play some of the relegation candidates and look absolutely clueless. It all depends which tam turns up but I am hoping we are a bit more consistent this year after falling away so badly at the end of last season.
Clever footwork by Vardy for his non-penalty goal and a great strike by Maddison. However in the first 30 minutes I thought we were in for a hammering, a rather squeaky bum time!!!

Looking at some of the clubs lower down the leagues now in financial trouble would it not be a nice gesture on behalf of all those clubs if those players on six figure salaries per week gave up a week's wages to help out, especially those on £200k. They could donate it and not even miss it.

I still cannot understand why some supporters could not be admitted to these grounds ensuring they were well spread out, masked up and segregated. The perimeter of a football field is quite some distance and it's not as though some of these clubs have such large home support. And if the supporters cannot behave themselves they lose their right to attend or the club, if negligent, has the privilege withdrawn.

They could initially restrict it to home fans, which should reduce the punch ups, a little.

Watford played Luton ( less than 20 miles away ) this past weekend so the Police brought the game forward to 12:30 and put extra officers on duty. Meanwhile the Club boarded up Graham Taylor's statue at Vicarage Road. It was a game without fans so one does have to wonder what else they would have had to do if fans had been present. Even if only the Watford supporters had been let in the yobs from the away team would have travelled to lay seige pending the Watford fans exiting the ground. The actual punch ups are of course routine but in this period it could have also resulted in further unwanted spread of the virus.

I’m not sure that I fully understand what the PL are proposing.
Pay £50 for Sky Sports
Then pay another £15 to watch your team as it happens
And if you are a season ticket holder, you’re still expected to pay.
Is that correct?

We have Ifollow in the EFL
You can subscribe to get radio commentary on every match, home and away plus you can live stream the match for a tenner.
I watch the home games and listen to the away games, just like being there

The Hornets offer any untelevised game for a tenner, it's a package with pre and post analysis etc.

In the Prem the games that are £15 each are those that are not being screened as part of the SKY / BT Sports / Prime etc subscriptions, however, there is a problem if a season ticket holder decides to sign up to watch an untelevised game for their team in that he/she will then be paying twice but that issue is known about and will be resolved shortly.

The Hornets can only offer that service because they are a lower league club
The EFL is ahead of the game where thats concerned.
What seems to be different is that the fan needs to be subscribed to Sky Football before they can access the £15 package.
As a Watford fan, you can sign up to Ifollow free of charge and pick and choose if you want to watch live.

It really is a very good service.

I’m lucky to have an all singing all dancing LG Oled Tv that has full app function so I can watch on the 56 incher.
The remote has a cursor option like a PC .
It is also voice operated.
It’s some sort of witchcraft.

£10 or £15 is the only difference as far as I can tell ... anybody can sign up to watch any available game. The games that are available are those that are NOT being shown on TV, having a subscription does not come into it. I am able to watch the Watford games but not when we played Luton nor when we play Derby next Friday for example because they are being televised. The Hornets have no idea at all if I subscribe to anybody.

If you don’t subscribe to them, how do you access it?

Sky does have one free channel on freeview which is available to non Sky customer, maybe this could be set up for pay per view for PL matches.

Oh , I get what you are saying now.
That’s the same as the Gills have.
The platform is Ifollow.

All EFL clubs are currently offering that.

Foxy was on about the PL teams that don’t have the Ifollow option.

What do you mean "unsecured Freeview channel", there are currently ways to watch pay tv channels on Freeview, I dont know the exact mechanism, but I assume it requires you to have an access code or something similar to ensure only paying members can view.
The EFL system is "iFollow", which allows season ticket holders to watch their teams home matches, but for away matches and non season ticket holders the charge is £10 per game. My son watches Town home games this way.

You don't need to Foxy, you can definitely watch iFollow on your tablet, and I understand there are various ways of transferring this to a TV, but you probably need a modern smart TV with wi-fi capability to do it easily.
