In light of the mutated mink coronavirus outbreak in Denmark should we not be closing our boarders to this country? If reports are correct 12 people have contracted this mutated strain then shouldn't we be taking action now in not allowing any Danish quarantine abusers into this country?.
OMG !

Just a bit of light reading for anyone among us who thinks that the UK government are the only incompetents in Europe.

Hi John, I have no idea how many Danes travel to the UK but it only takes one to infect millions......The problem l have with this is the SELF and ISOLATE....people that think only of them-SELVES won't give a sh*t about the ISOLATE part of their travel plans.

You may mock but l think we should be taking this very seriously.

Now now Moby, these poor ungrateful wretches have been mollycoddled all their lives , they don’t understand that you can’t have protection without barriers, did you see those awful fences, how unsightly.Perhaps they could have decorated them with pictures of Jezza, who I’m sure most of them revere.Do they not understand that while in halls of residence,it is the Universities responsibility to protect them.Give their money back and kick them out.

.... Thinking of that I filled in the online request to pay my TV license by monthly DD rather than al at once, especially since there is no extra cost for that, but 7 weeks later I have still heard nothing from them, by the time they respond I might end up paying all in one go anyway.
Have you had your letter from the TV License Dept Collection Agency yet ?

Well the government have done the right thing in banning all Denmark visitors form entering the UK however, I would have taken it a step further and made it a requirement that all returning UK citizens do their two-week quarantine in one of our nightingale hospitals.

Still with a trade balance in our favour, with or without a trade deal, so if the Yanks want a trade deal Biden will have to come and talk to us.

Hi John, figures differ whether from here or the US and if services are included. However I think the bigger prize for the US will be firstly a deal with the EU, a bigger market with opportunities arising from our exit

That's OK, the yanks will very soon get tired of the endless negotiations with the EU, and be only too happy to come and talk to a more sensible union.

Perhaps the EU would be a tad more accommodating especially if they see an opportunity to stitch us up

Any special relationship has been more to do with security than anything else.
That’s all handled at well above politicians level unless there is a crisis.

Well if it takes them as long to stitch us up as it does for them to agree a trade agreement, then we have little to fear for the next decade or so.
