More Beta Blockers and less Sausage 'n' Mash will be the Doc's advice I reckon
It was the new bl**dy Beta blocker that caused all this.

I thought it best to try to cheer him up rather than saying that I was thinking of sending some flowers

Mobietta was put on 10mg Beta Blockers for her blood preasure issues way back and says that at the start she would have to sit down cos she felt really exhausted, it lasted for about 15 mins but passed after a while. Her Doc said there were a number of things that can happen at the start or change of dosage with these tablets.

Post op I'm on 5mg. And according to what I've read red wine is good for the heart. So that'll do. I wonder if my GP will prescribe that?

I'm already on a self prescribed daily dose.

After speaking with the doc yesterday evening the plan is..

Start new meds today - 1mg doxazosin once a day to start with.
Book blood test and ECG
Take daily blood pressure readings next week
Catch up with docin 2 weeks time with results

Had a crap night sleep wise. Heart felt ok all night until now with the palpitations coming back, albeit not as bad. I wonder if a bacon sarny might help ;)

You can always tell when your knocking on a bit. The conversations when you were younger use to be about anything to do with sex. Now it's anything to do with medical conditions. We bump into neighbours occasionally while out on a walk, and we all say it, 'how are you', which is fatal (scuse the pun). You know what's coming as soon as you've said it, their recent medical history comes rolling out. I sometimes think 'if I have to listen to much more I'll have to go back home for a shave' :D . But we all do it, it's human nature. :)

Now about my ticker........ :D

It is very cold and we are 100yds from the sea but still had a heavy frost this morning. It was 0.5c when we turned in at 10 last night so wasn't that surprised. 😻

Some young woman couldn't see she was in the wrong a short while ago when I mentioned that she was taking up 90% of the pavement with her parking. 'So rude', and 'I've got a baby' she kept saying, among other things. Thick as too short planks.

I can never understand people that can’t accept they are in the wrong and talk about it rationally if they want to. Instead it’s rant and rave along with abuse for good measure. Mrs S said to her ‘what if you were walking down the road with your baby in the pushchair and you couldn’t pass because someone had parked like you have’. She wasn’t having non of it, moaning away. The dozy cow
