I was going to post my Christmas cards tomorrow. Seeing as I can't go out I will save a small fortune in stamps. I'll keep the cards until next year.

Frustrating isn’t it - I had the warning from the app on the phone and am still convinced it was a mistake. I could trace every person I had seen - 3 people - didn’t shop walk outside etc but I did my “time” like the good girl I am

I see we now have a new "daily number" to contend with - how many vaccinations there have been, but there has to be the caveat that the figures do not include those vaccinations given by GPs.

Now will this be total vaccinations or total recipients of the vaccine - no doubt something that can be argued about in the same way as testing!

Are we really interested in another meaningless number?

Maybe? As we are next on the list after all over 80s are vaccinated, but the we would need to know how many over 80s there were, and how many had been vaccinated and how many had refused the offer. So perhaps we should just wait to be called.

The man is reckless with people's lives and is playing this all wrong again imo...at the most we should be looking at a two day Christmas reprieve with one family plus 4 for Christmas dinner...can't leave Grans and Grandads out.

There was an interesting comment on the news last night.

In Germany the bars and restaurants have been closed for the last six weeks and now Germany is experiencing a massive rise in infections so this would, on the face of it, indicate that bars and restaurants may not be the problem that some are saying that they are.

It is also a possibility that had the bars and restaurants remained open that Germany's infection rate could be higher.

Also the Germans are not happy that they have not got they vaccine yet seeing as how it was developed in Germany!! Still waiting for the EU to pull its finger out.
