I want Brentford to go up. They play some wonderful football, have a brand new stadium, find some excellent players and gives me another away game to go to.
We may be able to help you there Bensham, we play Barnsley at their crib on the last day of the season.
The championship title is still up for grabs.

Are you a Watford fan Ray. Well done for winning promotion yesterday. Watford is one of my favourite away games. Win, lose or draw we always have a very nice day out.

Bensham, Wash your mouth out with soap and water.
You may notice Watford has come runner up on the last day of the season.

Whoops my apologies,  you are a Canary not an 'Ornet. Ain't been to Carrow Road for a few years, must put that right next season. We have happy memories there.

Yes I was there MoB. Not a brilliant game but a fantastic result. 1-0 to the Palace. Kevin Phillips penalty in extra time.

Thanks for the heads up but I ain't got sky. The highlights are still on the Palace You Tube channel if you want to watch the short version

I just read that Watford and Norwich's promotion will save The Premier League £83m in parachute payments that would have been due if they hadn't been promoted. This figure could increase if Bournemouth make it through the play offs.

I don't know what will happen to this money but it would be a kind gesture if it was distributed throughout the pyramid and help those clubs which have struggled throughout Covid rather than giving each of the Prem clubs £4million.

Alternatively it could go to the Big 6 Elites who have such massive debts especially now the ESL has collapsed!!!! :sarcasm: :lolno:

Not a bad game the other night Bensham. We got off to a slow start and you deserved your lead. Different kettle of fish in the second half, which could have gone either way but for Evans' intervention but then we had that super strike from Iheanacho.

All I can say is bad luck, we needed the points more than you.

Very gracious OBF. We were beaten by a better team.

That super strike by Iheanacho. Is that the same Iheanacho you wanted to sell a few weeks ago?.…..

Just joking he is a smashing player, I don't like him, that's at least the 2nd time he's scored the winner against us in his career so far. He did the same thing when we played Man City in the League Cup a few years ago a last minute winner that time.

Had you said you wanted Iheanacho I would have delivered him down there myself. We have had him for about 4 years and until now has been pretty awful and at £25million a real disappointment. Different managers have tried with him but until Rodgers came he did nothing. I'm as surprised as any with this current turn of form. It's probably just as well because Vardy is off form at the moment.

However that was some goal from him. I missed it first time round as the stream I had decided to buffer at just the wrong moment. When the stream returned only then did I discover he had scored.

Southampton on Friday so will be happy if we manage another three points against them.

We've got a nice easy game on Saturday. Home to Man City. Help. We are the early kick off 12.30 to live in BT Sport. Our only hope is that City are tired after their exploits in Europe and they have an off day.

They will play nine different players and still be able to put out a very strong side.
Financially, they are in a different league.

Whilst I have no issues with the fans protesting against their club's owners I was appalled by the vandalism and violence which accompanied it. No excuses for it and the perpetrators should have their collars felt.
Thank goodness my club is not in the same situation.

Your right Foxy,as a Utd fan I reserve the right to peaceful protest but the acts of violence and vandalism were completely out of order. Your lucky, you have good owners, the Glazers are bleeding Utd dry, they are money men through and through and just see Utd as a cash cow.

I do not condone the inevitable violence but I agree generally with the right to peaceful protest.

The owners are surely entitled to make a profit from their huge investments but I thought they had pumped in 100s of millions for players over the years ... albeit much of that money has been wasted on second rate players and possibly Managers also.

It's also left United in a lot of debt, as with others in the Elite 6 who shell out exorbitant transfer fees and pay silly money wages to maintain their positions at the top of the ladder. It makes it nigh on impossible for others to compete.
To my mind it's an unrealistic model leaving these clubs with a conundrum they have difficulty in solving once they have started it. It also means their players are reluctant to leave to clubs who cannot afford their wage demands.

I think you will find that the transfer fees are registering on the United balance sheet, I dont believe any money has come out of the Glazers pockets.

Utd are apparently £350m in debt, from the purchase of the club by the Glazers, the debt is on the club ,not the owners,Woodward arranged the sale.Glad he’s going.

I'm watching a brilliant game of football live on BT Sport. Consett 2 v Hebburn Town 2. Half hour to go. It's the final of the 2020 FA Vase. The 2020 FA Trophy Final is on at 4.30 pm Harrogate Town v Concord Rangers.

Real proper football. If you know what I mean.. MoB Hebburn's nickname is the Hornets......just saying.
