Re: Football 20/21
Who will win the FA Cup Final today ?
For me Chelsky should edge it but maybe their minds will be on the Champions League Final thus allowing Vardy & Co to nip in with a grandstand winner for the Foxes

Re: Football 20/21
Not sure whether my nerves will last out until kick off. I would have a drink but not allowed at the moment (under doctor's orders) so chocolate will have to do.....and crisps.
Fifth attempt at this so surely Holy Mary, Mother of God and a wee donkey one day we will win it and today would suit just fine. Can't be waiting another 50 years!!!
Heard the other day on the radio of a chap who was running to Wembley. He recounted the tale of his dad who cycled there in 1949. We lost and when he got out of the stadium somebody had nicked his bike so he had to walk home.

Just glad it's not Watford we're playing. I have bad memories of a certain match against them. B****y Deeney.

Watford v Leicester. I have just one thing to say. It was never a penalty in the first place.

Re: Football 20/21
He'll probably be on the bench next year, just to take penalties, cos he's a yard or three slower than all the others. The owners, it was recently reported, have said that he can stay at Watford for as long as he wants to ... nice touch, if true, for his loyalty over the years.oldbluefox wrote: 15 May 2021, 14:16Just glad it's not Watford we're playing. ps ... not a good idea to leave yer bike unattended in Wembley

Sign of the times, 5 ‘British’ players in the starting 11 of the two teams.
C’mon Foxes.

A good game, not a great one, but a great result for Leicester fans.

I am absolutely thrilled to bits well done Leicester. I',m over the moon for everyone connected to Leicester, a proper football club and the owner is a smashing guy as well.
The goal to win it was one of the best Cup Final goals ever and then saves by Kasper, wow.

A great result for all of us that support a club not part of the so called super league.towny44 wrote: 15 May 2021, 19:16A good game, not a great one, but a great result for Leicester fans.

Nice one foxy.
Great goal, great save.
Good to get another name on the trophy. Proper owners, nice to see the chairman on the pitch with the players.
Do it again on Tuesday

Re: Football 20/21
Unbelievable, simply unbelievable after so many disappointments in the past. Not the best of games but a goal out of the blue, two good saves and a disallowed goal.
I'm made up tonight and thanks for all the kind comments.

Well done you Foxes
I enjoyed the game and especially the result. I also hoped that my window cleaning Foxy type chum got an invite for the big day. he'll be beside himself this morning.
