Get rid of Meghan and I feel normal service would be resumed.

Which is great. I really hope the Sussexes don't resume twisting the knife when they return to the US. Meghan is getting a taste of how it could be this afternoon. As I said before the ball is now firmly in their court.
We shall wait and see...... but there didn't seem to be much interaction between the two couples.
After what MeAgain has said and the lies she has told about the RF and the Brits in general I don't know how she dared to show her face.
I was taught to be cautious

I’ve seen more meat on a butchers dog than Meghan has on her. Get some pie and mash inside you girl.

With the passing of the Queen we have witnessed today the biggest legacy the Queen could have left the Monarchy….William. Kate, Harry and Meghan together

It was a good move by Charles to mention Harry and MeAgain. They cannot now accuse him of leaving them out.

...... and as well as speaking well didn't Penny look lovely 😂
Very pleasing on the eye foxy

If I was ten years younger I’d give her one…….of your box of choccies Keith :)
I'd give her more than one....of my box of Choccies Stephen  :)

I said I’d got a licence for a tissue box stall, I didn’t mention anything about tissues being in them. They're extra.

I don’t doubt there has been a certain amount of amnesia and indeed mistruths spoken by both parties, however. if there is to be any future for the Monarchy then bridges need to be built... or risk Harry and Meghan spilling the beans as to the real reasons Harry and William have fallen out…The new King sees the value in this by proclaiming his love for both Harry and Meghan, perhaps you as a Monarchist should also see the value in this.
Keith, if you genuinely know the real reason for the fall out then you could elicit a fortune from any number of tabloids by selling the story however, if, as a republican, you are just speculating, then I wish you would stay silent.
With respect John you should read what I have actually said and not speculate on what you think I said.
I was thinking more about what you dont say, but keep alluding to without providing any proof.

As far as the Royal family are concerned, we are all left to speculate about what we believe to be true. In that context you are as guilty as me in not providing proof of what you believe to be true about Harry and Meghan.

I have only ever commented about what I have seen on TV, e.g. their intervew with Oprah, or some reported comments in the media, and from those facts I have made my own view in the same way that thousands of others have.

Just watched the Queen and the corsage leave Balmoral for her final time.

I think the BBC must have got their camera from pound stretcher. Picture break up just before and as the corsage left Balmoral. Not much better with the aerial shots and commentary either.

I'm watching Sky which has Alastair Bruce as the Commentator. He's been the historical advisor to many period progra mmes, including Downton Abbey. He's really Major-General Bruce and is the Governor of Edinburgh Castle. He did an amazing programme with the Queen when she described the Coronation, being in the very uncomfortable golden coach and also they had the crown there for her to talk about. His knowledge of everything to do with the Monarchy is amazing. He described the beginning of the journey of the Queen from Balmoral and knew so much about Balmoral and the surrounding area. Yesterday his commentary of the Proclamation was fantastic, he knew who everyone was all about the whole process. I am sure he will be commentating on the Funeral, unless of course he's attending it. For anyone interested in history it's worth watching Sky News if it's available just to listen to his commentary. I remember watching the Sky coverage of William and Kate's wedding and he knew who everyone was while the BBC commentator obviously didn't.

I've been watching the BBC coverage since Thursday afternoon and as always their programme is absolutely magnificent. Loads of different commentator's not just one ot two.

I wouldn't dream of watching this on any other station.

I switched over to ITV as they appear to have taken a less formal approach to their commentating…did anyone watch the last nights ‘Queens life in pictures’ which was an interesting look back on her upbringing both in picture and video.

Yes Stephen, it clearly demonstrated what a doting father King George was to his children and what a happy upbringing the children appeared to enjoy.

Anybody here see the tribute by Aberdeenshire farmers who lined up their tractors as a guard of honour as the cortege passed by?
What a lovely and moving tribute.
Must say I am astounded by the number of people who have turned out as the Queen's coffin has passed by on its way to Edinburgh.

I didn’t see it Foxy but just looked it up…. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OSkWW2CnJE

As you say, a fitting tribute from the farming community.
