If we are still talking about the triple lock, then I think it would be most prudent to limit this again,. This is no different to the energy help that is being given this winter, it now wont be continued but the most needy can then be given enough help so they dont have to choose between heating and eating, and the cost to the govt will still be much less than giving £400 to everyone
It seems like simple economic sense to me.
