3.30 Fakir O’dudairies £7 win….2nd beaten fair and square

4.5 Numitor (National fences) £8 win £2 place….hit second fence like a bulldozer… Pulled UP

Just seen that they estimate £150m will be bet on the National. Most of that will be lost into the bookies' pockets of course.

Instead the punters could pay the entire cost of the Royal Family for a year and still have £50m left for a damned good night out.

Sounds like a plan to me.
