I made some last year..and we all ate it before Christmas...it was so yummy and yes very addictive. That's why I am leaving it as late as possible.Meg 50 wrote:don't believe any stuff that says hand made.... it's usually chewy and disgusting.
Homemade is crumbly and melts in the mouth - and horribly addictive - If CS Lewis had tried it, Edmund would have asked the White Witch for it!

I jst suck the chocolate off those then leave the brazils in a bowl for guests to enjoy.Kenmo1 wrote:Milk Chocolate covered Brazils for me - well the brazils are healthy.

Kenmo, you should visit HK Phooey's shop. I hear she's offering brazil nuts FOC to anyone who spends over £10Kenmo1 wrote:HK phooey wrote:I jst suck the chocolate off those then leave the brazils in a bowl for guests to enjoy.Kenmo1 wrote:Milk Chocolate covered Brazils for me - well the brazils are healthy.

That's all right then as I never spend more than £10 anywhere.Romig1 wrote:Kenmo, you should visit HK Phooey's shop. are they still available?Dark Knight wrote:Fry's Choclate cream, the original one

I'm sure I've seen Fry's chocolate cream in Sainsbugs , don't know if they are the original ones though and what about Fry's five centre, I haven't seen those for years I used to love themSilver_Shiney wrote:are they still available?Dark Knight wrote:Fry's Choclate cream, the original one
My DIL last week made some sort of traybake that was peanut butter on the bottom and dark chocolate on top. It was horrible... kept getting in my mouth..... Must ask her for the recipe.
I love most chocolate but I don't like the combination of chocolate and orange (and yet I like chocolate limes). Chocolate Brazils are a favourite.
Chocoholics do some good stuff, and if you arrange a party and the rep sells so much, you get a free box of choccies.
For general confectionary, I love Jelly Bellies, especially the chilli and sour ones, and was hoping to buy some last week but, even in MCO's duty free shop, they were fiendishly expensive.
