Hello Keefy, I hope you had a lovely Christmas.

Santa bought me a telescope. I am hoping for a clearish sky tonight as it will be my first opportunity to have a play with it.

Love and best wished to the girls.

Regards
Rob

Hiya Robbie,

It’s been lovely Christmas thank you Rob... for the first time in twenty years my wife has managed to get the whole week off which has been lovely for me as I’ve been able to put my feet up and watch my wife doing all the washing inrning and cooking  Up till now we’ve enjoyed a quite Christmas by our standards but things have picked up a pace this last couple of days which now looks set to continue into the New Year. Alas, I don’t think I can stand much more of this as I’m starting to feel and look like a pot bellied pig (can’t wait for the Onelife “Pinch-an -inch” diet to start)

Our next door neighbour always brings his telescope down when he comes to visit his Van in Wales...You should do the same if you want good company... sitting out on our balcony watching the stars at night...absolutely no light pollution and easy access to plentiful amounts of black stump. See you there hopefully sometime during 2014.

On that note keefy and the girls send you and your girls our very best wishes for an absolutely fantastic 2014.

Regards

Keefy

P.s...Don’t do with your telescope what I did with my binoculars....I went up to our attic room to take a peek at the moon one clear evening...wasn’t sure if they were focused properly so decided to focus them in by zooming in on our neighbours living room....shortly afterwards the curtains closed rather abruptly and I went scurrying back down stairs to explain to my wife why we might be getting a visit from the local bobby. :shifty:

My dear Son travelled a long and frustrating journey

He was head cook

Turkey Curry with all the accomplishments followed by a fantesticle Xmas pud

Boxing day my very first Mexican extravaganza

Rather poignant, as one dinning seat was empty

Lots of txts, emails and phone calls from my scattered family

My Christmas was oh so different but OK

Luboo all

I got my I pad for Xmas 2011 and now just wouldn't be without it.it is I pad 2 so may upgrade some time. I also touch type and found it slow until I bought the stylus pen. It still has a mind if it's own and types rubbish sometimes but usually after some alcohol consumption.

This year I got a kindle, a pair of tap dancing shoes, a furry onesie with ears, jewellery and some money for clothes.

Hope you all had a great Christmas we are just back from a fabulous cruise on Azura.

Sue

Dear Silver......Soiled Nightie is not something you want to look at too closely....particularly if you value the contents of your tummy!!

I had an Ice Cream Maker and a book on making Silver Clay Jewellery (hoping to go on a course on Silver Clay later in 2014). I had a big expensive present last year so OH got the bigger present this year.....an electric golf cart and a new golf bag. We have a lot to spend on the house next year...new driveway and redecorating plus I have a big birthday containing an "0" and a 45th wedding anniversary early in 2015. Hoping we might spend the anniversary on a cruise, but nothing booked yet.
It can't be your 45th anniversary Shirley and you're only 50! Are you sure it's not your 25th?
