All done and dusted. No tumour found, instead a narrowing that needed dilating/stretching. Although on the CT scan it looked like a tumour/lesion, until they could get a look inside they couldn't be 100% sure. Out patients appointment in six weeks time.
I was first on the list so no hanging about which also meant I could enjoy some of that gourmet hospital food a bit later. Stayed in overnight, and did I have a laugh. The chap next to me had the same sense of humour, and we ribbed and had joke with all the nurses, who I must say were wonderful. I've also drunk enough water to fill a bath, which was a good thing.
As far as I'm concerned I won't hear a bad word about the NHS.
Like all hospital stays though you would get a better nights sleep on the side of the M23, so I'm looking forward to my bed tonight![]()
Very pleased with the outcome as are the family![]()
That's great news Stephen, glad it has turned out OK for you, now go and enjoy the two breaks you have booked.
We have also booked a break in October.
