WAH HEY......GOOD NEWS

All done and dusted. No tumour found, instead a narrowing that needed dilating/stretching. Although on the CT scan it looked like a tumour/lesion, until they could get a look inside they couldn't be 100% sure. Out patients appointment in six weeks time.
I was first on the list so no hanging about which also meant I could enjoy some of that gourmet hospital food a bit later ;) . Stayed in overnight, and did I have a laugh. The chap next to me had the same sense of humour, and we ribbed and had joke with all the nurses, who I must say were wonderful. I've also drunk enough water to fill a bath, which was a good thing.

As far as I'm concerned I won't hear a bad word about the NHS.

Like all hospital stays though you would get a better nights sleep on the side of the M23, so I'm looking forward to my bed tonight :D

Very pleased with the outcome as are the family

That's great news Stephen, glad it has turned out OK for you, now go and enjoy the two breaks you have booked.

We have also booked a break in October.
