Mobey, are you a Watford supporter? We are supposed to hate each other.
Ban him Mob!!!!!!!
I thought about it ... but hey ho it's not Frank's fault ;)

Funny thing is that me and my family line going back to 1902 has more connection with Luton than Watford :o

Frank, you have Dewsbury-Hall playing for you. How is he doing? he had a couple of promising minutes in the first team but playing week in week out will really show how goo he is.
The trouble is Foxy he is one of the better players and they can recall him any time that a need or a cheque book calls. Poor old Luton have real financial limitations, and the board are determined not to incur debts. They still turn in some good results. The best striker is on £5000 a week Rumoured, and that is peanuts by Championship standards. we live in hope, but that's all we have.
I think that is the problem for all the smaller teams. In days gone by they would develop young talent and make money by selling on to the bigger clubs. Unfortunately the big clubs are now buying from abroad much more than they used to so clubs like Luton find a funding stream drying up. If they do manage to put together a good team it's difficult to hang on to the talent anyway as they are lured by bigger paychecks and greater opportunities elsewhere. We are fortunate in having a wealthy owner so no longer do we need to sell to survive and we are becoming more attractive as a club with state of the art training facilities and an ambitious manager. By the sale of a couple of our better players we have been able to finance several cheaper replacements who have fitted in well but we have struggled in the past.

On the subject of buying from the smaller clubs what a good buy Justin has turned out to be. Because of injuries and the sale of Chilwell to Chelsea he has been thrown in at the deep end and has thrived to the extent I feel he is better than Chilwell and can't be far off from a call up for England. Had he been at Man City or Yanited he would probably have been called up already.

I haven't watched the highlights yet Moby, although there were probably few for my team. But the Radio Leefs commentary did suggest that our gifted first goal was what decided the game.

The highlights suggest that the Terriers weren't really in the game and were hoping for a bore draw. You didn't have the quality to score and their overall inexperience allowed us to intercept a poor back pass and then to add a tap in for the second. Deeney got a deserved yellow card for chopping the legs off Baccuna(?) but if you wear purple hair and say " Catch me if you can, fatty " to Troy then that will be his response.

I think your Manager played the kids hoping for points in your next home game.

If only that were true Moby, we seem to have almost a full team out injured.

The injuries were mentioned, big problem for all the teams of course and especially so with the crazy schedule. We've got four games in eleven days starting tomorrow

Chelsea v Luton on Sunday. I don't mind them losing, but I will be keen to see them play well. Apparently against Brentford mid week, they played well 2nd half and were a bit unlucky. The build up is often quite good, but they desperately need to get the ball in the net more often.

I will be a Luton fan for the day. If Chelsea play a weakened side that doesn't play well and Luton play at the top of their game then Luton can best them. Remember Bradford City a few seasons ago.

The chicken sheds at Luton will be rocking, or rather they would have been. Do Luton still have them or are they now long gone? Anyways good luck to Luton. We played Chelsea on Tuesday and for all the money they have spent and the star names on display they looked clueless. Their defence had more holes in it than a rusty colander. Good luck!!!

I have a question

During February one's beloved 'Ornets are live x 4 on SKY but in addition to that there are two featured single camera games where one uses the ' Red Button '. Now call me Mr Thicky but what the *uck is that :?

ps ... is it the Chan with Mohammed(?) where they normally do ' Final Score ' on a Saturday afternoon ?
.

Just press it and find out!!! It probably takes you to the iPlayer. I went to the BBC iPlayer and found a hatful (excuse the Luton pun) of cup games which were being screened live. None of your SKY rubbish.
If you press the red button and the telly box goes up in a puff of smoke don't blame me. It's at your own risk.

Btw good win for your lot last night. I see all the relegated clubs are in contention up at the top of the Championship.

Meanwhile Liverpool have hit a rough patch and Klopp is looking for a new striker.

The red button games generally don't go live until about 15 minutes before kick off, you need to be on a Sky sports football channel and when you press the Red Button it shows a menu in a side bar with all that nights games, just tab your way down to the Watford game, select, et voila!

Just watched Chelsea v Luton. Shame there wasn't a giant killing but Luton made a good showing. It might have been a different result if Luton had put away that great chance in the second half. A very good penalty save by the Hatters goal keeper as well. A good game that I really enjoyed.

Now for Brentford v Leicester.
